I am now back home for the next few months. I have been "saving" cars for buyers that did not show up so they are all for sale again. Prices range from $500 to $800 each. All are located 25 milers north of Scranton PA. Hey, I PM'd you about the black 91 SS. Very interested and I can pick the car up...

This is a great write up. I've rebuilt many 4 piston calipers and it's the same process. Sometimes it's harder with the 4 pots because the pistons are seized. Overall you did a great job and the write up is amazing.
I took the car today to get inspected. All they check is emissions and I failed! Everything passed except idle emissions. I was so close to passing. I'm going to put some seafoam and injector cleaner in and hopefully it will pass.
I have 4/2 pots on my WRX for winter and the Speedlines are designed to fit over them. Pretty much any 15 inch rally oriented wheel is made to fit over those brakes. Speedlines, Team Dynamics, Compomotive are the major brands people run.
freakin sweet find! Those rims are rad. Are those an old team dynamics? cant tell from the pic. I think your attack plan sounds like the winning ticket. assuming everything else is in order, that should fix your problems and make your car run waaaay better. Thanks! The wheels are Speedline 2118's. ...
I just picked up a 1992 Legacy Sport Automatic with 71k miles on it! Beautiful car with one tiny spot of rust. The car has three codes, 21,24,35. They are for the water temp sensor, canister purge control solenoid, and air control valve. I'm doing the valve cover gaskets and spark plugs and wire thi...
For the front, I'm not sure what year arms I am getting. On my 2005 WRX I have the STi aluminum control arms with my stock front sway bar so I know that fits. I might get an ALK for the car so that will add more caster anyways. For the rear, I got the lateral links with the separate sway bar boxes a...
Great, with your rear sway bar do you have the stock Legacy lateral links? The STi pink lateral links are longer and a WRX rear sway bar does not fit on the car with those. Like you said I would need a JDM STi wagon rear sway bar.
I plan on installing all of this onto a 1991 Legacy SS that already has 2004 STi struts. I wanted to see if anyone has done this on their 91 and has any tips or tricks to anything. - GD STi front control arms - GD STi Pink trailing arms - GD STi Pink Lateral links with sway bar boxes - GD STi Rear s...

Great thanks. On my WRX I found a set of 2006 WRX rear hubs and used those. I think they would fit on the Legacy but I might as well change the lateral links, trailing arms and sway bars to something nicer like STi stuff.
It seems like all the old school Legacy fans stick with the EJ22T or an EJ20G but what about the 205. I love the 205 in my WRX and you can get them pretty cheap. Are there any draw backs to swapping that into an older Legacy? You can get some pretty good power from a 205 with not a lot of mods. I'm ...
