For Legacy central, i try to limit the width of my landscape images to 700 pixels so that they're viewable on a computer running 800x600 with the browser maximized. As Josh said, if you want hi-res, we can have a link to it so that it doesn't slow down the page opening and mess up the formatting. If...

I think Josh has a good method for making the headlights spiffy again, and i think it simply involves Turtle Was or some other paste wax that is applied and then polished.

This is definitely an FAQ item.

Some of them say RHB5, others say RHB52.

Both the compressor and turbine housing on the two are completely different, as you've probably seen, so perhaps the only usable portion that could be transplanted between them is the center section and wheels...

phpBB apparently doesn't come with that, or else i'm dense and can't seem to find anything about it. It would be nice to let people upload images, but managing them might prove to be an entirely new issue. If you have a pic you want everyone to see, i'll host it locally. Just email it and it's reall...

If i recall correctly, the US and World VINs are different. The non-US VIN plates will actually give relevant information, such as chassis type, revision and other details.

I'll peek at mine, if i can remember, and see if it says "BF" or "BJ".

BC-BF Legacy FAQ is coming

Josh (Legacy777) has the full content of LegacyWorks and is going to make an attempt to put together as much of the vast amounts of information it contains into an ultimate FAQ for the first generation Legacy. This will take time, and will most likely come in installments. I'm not sure what the form...

Legacy of the Week

This is one of my favorites, and one of the few examples of a BC with 18s. Busy spokes just look incredible on these cars:

The guys at the i-club now have the largest Subaru message board in the world, which i don't envy at all, having seen some of the behind-the-scenes action that goes on. It's been my general experience from the i-club's Legacy forum, LegacyWorks and the USMB that Legacy owners are a different crowd e...

Good stuff. I tried both the Air-Air and Air-Water stock setups at one time, but never could get past how poorty everything fit in with the stock US setup. Somehow i found this RS-T IC on eBay and a hose to put it in with. I'd really like to get an Air-Water setup, as it's not necessary to have the ...

Welcome to the Legacy Central BBS

This is something i've wanted to do for a very long time, but haven't had the resources to do it till now. Some of you are familiar with the BC-BF LegacyWorks group, which i moderate as "legacycentral". This BBS is meant to replace the clunky interface of Yahoo Groups with the much more st...
