how are your plug wires doing? are they secure on the plugs? I had an awful bog in my 96 a while ago... one of the plug wire "sockets" was loosened from repeated taking on and off, when i was cruizing it was fine and if i gave it gas the wire would lose contact and bog.

fixed my sun roof! I pulled the trim, headliner and removed the whole assembly. took it inside and scraped the old stuff out- it was cracked out big time. vaccumed the loose bits away and laid down new sealant. Only took 1 hour with a friend ( let it set for and hour before i put it back in) having ...

when I set mine at .85 it was difficult to stop it from spiking to .86 where I would hit the fuel cut... so watch out for that.
Its amazing how much it affects the spooling time isnt it?

Also, if the Apex unit referred to is the AVCR, it utilizes its OWN MAP sensor for boost recognition, and not the ecu's MAP sensor, so any changes made via a FCD would not be seen by the AVCR's MAP sensor. Oh yeah, as for the two remaining sensors, I would run oil pressure and EGT, followed very cl...

I have the water temp gauge already, I got it when I thought the stock unit in my 96 GT was flaking out. The Apexi unit reads vacuum too. So I don't really need a boost gauge. I think with the mod path I want to eventualy follow (larger turbo, better fueling) its definatly EGT gauge, theres one on e...

I have room for two more gauges...

but cant decide what to get.
They will be autometer carbon fiber gauges... cause they are hard to damage.
What I have already is a watertemp gauge. Perhaps a egt and a oil pressure?

Don't need a boost, the apexi takes care of that.

Apexi TT was worth the 70 bucks.

So yeah, I installed the Apexi timer in the the mach wagon this morning. Had to drop off the rug doctor (amazing party, shoulda been here) but the store took forever and made me late to work. 8 miles, lots of 2nd and 3rd gear pulls I get to the dealership only 1 minute late. TT = peace of mind. The ...

Do you have hesitations? What type of intake do you have?

Im thinking that my hesitations might not be ingnition related. I remember reading that cone filters may give the sensor a hard time.
Whats your intake and hesitation situation?

I say it's nothing more than a Subaru trait. As most of you know, I've replaced damn near everything I possibly can in the hopes of fixing the bumpy idle. I've replaced the IAC valve with a brand-new one, I've swapped throttle bodies, MAFs, this and that. Fact of the matter is, I've never driven an...

It was grounded with the earthing kit. An attempt to cure the hesitation. I have since put the ingnitor back on its stock mount(still grounded with kit) and rewired the kit so its grounding near or on any ignition system conponent. cam sensor, tps sensor(may move to crank sensor, and diamond pack.
