yeah, the heads on that site aren't like your 2.5 DOHC heads with the correct outs for coolant/oil. thanks anyway for the link All you need to do is TAP INTO the heads. that's it. The TOP one is the oil feed, the 2.5L DOHC heads have a bolt in its place. The Coolant feed is not TAPPED yet. The oil ...

I did that! For the coolant, you just have to cut the top and bottem apart.

Running the WRX TMIC I had to rotate the upper coolant line that goes to the reservior towards the windshield so it'd clear the y-pipe. Other than that, it's all bolt on.

FYI, the only LIGHT Imprezas were the FWD models. All other AWD Impreza models like the sedan will be at 2600ish lbs+. The '93 AWD L Wagon listed weight at around 2700. My '99 L Wagon is listed at 2795 w/ the standard options that it has. I have reduced that weight by about 40lbs.

Went to AutoZone and bought a pipe and clamps...forgot what size pipe...but cut it to length and put it on. Looks great and should work just fine! Power from this compared to the stock one? I dunno..... bu...

wouldn't I be running RICH once I past 13psi.....because the MAF would max out there....then injectors go WOT and are 100% IDC....push to 16psi and still hope that a/f are not near 13:1.

humm...... I MAY want to push 16psi with this TD04...... but then it's the MAF that I'm afraid of the may make the injectors shoot out the wrong fuel; not enough or too much. If the fueling is sufficient with this setup, I may want to do up a FCD and boost to 16psi. IF fueling isn't sufficient, then...

OT:
I was just thinking of putting in pistons from a '99 EJ25 into my dad's '98 2.5L engine. What I worry about is the skirt not clearing the lower part of the block.....would I have issues? When I put in NEW rod bearings in the '98 motor, seems I could have just put in the '99 piston w/ new rings.

Here's the MYTH! Here we have USDM EJ205 vs the '97-'99 USDM NA DOHC 2.5L head The PORT ENTRY of the WRX are bigger, but the PORT RUNNERS are rounder and smaller than the NA DOHC 2.5L head. The NA 2.5L SOHC PORT RUNNERS are smoother and has a better splitter thus better flow than the USDM WRX heads ...

You should have no problem doing that. You just have to use the EJ22T headgaskets or ones that are the same thickness of the EJ22T because the pistons come OUT of the block so you don't want piston slap. I had to put my projet EJ22T in my '99 Impreza L Sport Wagon because I messed up the rod bearing...
