yeah, the heads on that site aren't like your 2.5 DOHC heads with the correct outs for coolant/oil. thanks anyway for the link All you need to do is TAP INTO the heads. that's it. The TOP one is the oil feed, the 2.5L DOHC heads have a bolt in its place. The Coolant feed is not TAPPED yet. The oil ...

come to think of it...I might just keep these heads.... I just need to find myself a '96 2.5L intake manifold and my cam gears. They'd be just perfect. mauhahaha

I purchased a full Perrin Y-pipe and cut it on that little straight between the y and the 90*. Went to AutoZone and bought a pipe and clamps...forgot what size pipe...but cut it to length and put it on. Looks great and should work just fine! Power from this compared to the stock one? I dunno..... bu...

humm...... I MAY want to push 16psi with this TD04...... but then it's the MAF that I'm afraid of the may make the injectors shoot out the wrong fuel; not enough or too much. If the fueling is sufficient with this setup, I may want to do up a FCD and boost to 16psi. IF fueling isn't sufficient, then...

I have the '97-'99 NA DOHC 2.5L heads. It just doesn't have the cam gears. I really wished it did. One head I took apart to clean it and was getting it ready for some porting but didn't get to it. http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=29100 I have a crank pulley off a '98 2.5L sitting as well...

My 22T crank I can pull forward when I had the engine out. I can put the crank pulley on, and pull on it and it'll move forward. There's no play moving up and down, but moving forward and backwards on the block.... I think it's normal??? I'll be rebuilding one of my 22T's that's out sitting on the g...

OMFG, We have been corrupted with a NASIOC invasion... oi! FYI, I was on NASIOC since Jan '01 when it was still i-club. I know it has changed a lot but I'm not here to start problems. Just posting how the DOHC looks like compared to the WRX heads, and of course the '96 heads....etc..... I'd ...

Here's the MYTH! Here we have USDM EJ205 vs the '97-'99 USDM NA DOHC 2.5L head The PORT ENTRY of the WRX are bigger, but the PORT RUNNERS are rounder and smaller than the NA DOHC 2.5L head. The NA 2.5L SOHC PORT RUNNERS are smoother and has a better splitter thus better flow than the USDM WRX heads ...

You should have no problem doing that. You just have to use the EJ22T headgaskets or ones that are the same thickness of the EJ22T because the pistons come OUT of the block so you don't want piston slap. I had to put my projet EJ22T in my '99 Impreza L Sport Wagon because I messed up the rod bearing...
