Re: What did you do to your Subie today?

Grabbed a Jecs MAF & Diamond coilpack from a local yard. Installed the coilpack.. Haven't driven enough to notice if it made a difference. New key cylinder for ignition so I can close the column back up. I'll probably put in my wrx rear seats later.

matching wrx seats installed, woot

Re: randomiams 1993 Legacy SS with bonus TW action within!

So.. about to consider my exhaust options: I have the bellmouth downpipe still, no cats.. I need to add an additional 02 Bung for a future wideband ..and for the rest.. It seems like I can find a WRX aftermarket exhaust and have it lengthened/adjust hangers as needed or buy my own new muffler and ha...

Start using NA cable clutch transmissions.. Atleast they are easy to find and I called a yard up north a while back and they were pricing the gearboxes at around 100ish, lol

4.11 Bonus too!

Re: Huge dilemma need help deciding on motor options!

If you've already got the internals, and kind of made that investment. I would rebuild it. I don't know but I haven't always heard the best things about trying to make the crankshaft work again by way of regrind back to spec but I've only done this once. I'm in a pretty similar spot-- I'm tearing it...

Re: WTB: Revtronix chip stage 1 or 2

I would get a wideband setup Robert; this is the only way you'll really know how well the current system is running the setup, its better to err on the side of caution. read up on the robtune thread & robtune.com and expect to budget $500+ and I don't know but are the 440s the best match for the...

BUMP!

wrx flywheel sold, added a white NA bumper cover - beat up/ugly, think I have an extra exhaust manifold. Still have a lot of interior bits, fresh clutch, ac compressor and other stuff. Might also be interested in a good crankshaft!

Re: Spotted Thread

So given the history of my car (formerly abducted when owned by Robert), noticing another silver ss, you can bet I will try and get a closer look-- haha. Spotted in Renton, in the hood haha. That 711 was shot up when I used to live in this area. http://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/r604/patrownbowmah...

minor bump: fender braces installed, feels a little more solid in corners.. I was tempted to relocate the washer tank but I didn't really want to half ass it, will keep my eye open for a nice jdm tank and get something somewhat proper working. sanded down the rust beneath battery & coated it, mi...
