If you wanna be extra sure, rotate the crank 2 revolutions afterwards, and make sure the marks still line up...if so, you're golden. I haven't ever really been able to get the marks line back up after rotating the engine. I probably didn't rotate the engine enough. Just keep that in mind if you pla...

Any CO folks playing at CORE?
Just wondering if anyone else in Colorado goes here to play in the dirt: http://coloradooffroadextreme.com/ Their rally stage track (2.4 miles!) is about as fun as it gets IMO. The 10-mile offroad loop is killer too, but NOT at speed in a Subaru (trust me ). For $20 we get to play all day here ...

The marks on the belt are merely a convenience, they are NOT critical in any way. Simply line up the timing marks on the crank and cam sprockets with the corresponding marks on the motor, and install the belt starting with the crank pulley. Just for informational purposes....I got one of those cheap Ebay shifters for our old '93 L wagon (this one: here ), and it worked okay. All I had to do was notch the hole in the floor very slightly to clear the factory linkage rod (which the new shifter raises up to shorten the throws) and it shift...

Our ol' wagon was almost perfect. We're gonna miss it for sure...especially not ever having to work on it! The Blue Goat? Heh, that was my very first car...what's left of an actual '69 Judge. You don't wanna see more of it right now, it needs a total restoration. Look closely at what's in the garage...

Welcome. That hood is the secks! I'd totaly buy it from you if it didn't have to be shipped. Sounds like this CORE place is hard on equipement. Any pics of the car in action there? Haha, thanks for the welcome. Yeah, that hood's something...something on its way to the scrap metal pile. CORE is easy...

SLODRIVE...first post, here's our Subies!
Hiya everyone, I stumbled across this site recently, so I registered yesterday and now it's time for the intro. SLODRIVE Racing was born this past summer when my buddy and I decided that playing with cars in the dirt, with the intention of eventually going rallying, would be a good idea. We decided ...
