Any other brand wheels fit Subaru?
Are the Subaru wheel patterns one of a kind or are there any other wheels from different makes that will fit. I was never able to find extra Legacy wheels for snow tires, the junk yards said they could not cross over to any other cars, has this changed? Anybody have any luck swapping wheels?

That FWD fuse, still unclear to me
I searched this topic and read some posts about it but I didn't find a definate answer to the question that I had in mind. Does putting the fuse in the FWD socket stop ALL the power to the rear wheels? ie: if I disconected the diff from the drive shaft and drove it would the the trans turn the drive...

I think I may have a similar problem, or maybe this is normal? I noticed it when I was making a turn on a gravel parking lot. I decided to make it happen again and watched the rear wheels with the driver door open. I stopped the car and turned the wheel all the way for a tight left turn. I then drov...

Yeah, that makes perfect sence to me, I bought the 94 SS about a year ago, I picked it a few weeks after I paid for it and the brake pedal went to the floor. The brakes were fine when I paid for it, I think the guy switched them before I came back. Hard to believe, real nice guy. The 94 TW I bought ...

So it is possible to put rear calipers on the front as long as they are both turbo? The only difference would be single or double pistons? So than the three different calipers are: n/a turbo front turbo rear If this is right then I am not as confused as I was before. I wish I had just one car that w...

The rotors on all my turbo cars are the double disc ventilated type, and the n/a calipers do not fit over the turbo rotors. But only the 92 has the twin piston. The 94 cars will not accept the n/a calipers. and only have single pistons. I have three different calipers here: Narrow single piston on m...

Dual Piston Calipers?
I just went to put steel rims on my 92 SS for the winter only to find out they will not fit over the front calipers. they are dual piston ones that I have not seen before on my other turbos. My 94's both have single piston front and rear. Was this standard fror 92?

Are the wheel circumferences the same from front to rear? Take them off and wrap a tape measure around the tires. Are they the same? Don't rely on the size marked on the tire. I have two pair of tires, same size, diffferent brands, one pair measures 75.5 inches around the other pair is 76.5 inches a...

Deleting trouble codes?
I am trying to erase the trouble codes on my 94 SS. I left the battery disconnected overnight and did not even start the car this morning, the codes were still there. Can the car read the codes without it even being started? They are the knock sensor and the purge valve codes ( 35 and 22 ) Does this...

Ethyl was homemade by someone in the mid 60's, don't know what the frame is. The tub is galvanized steel, the engine cover is aluminum and the back end is fiberglass that was formed right onto the frame. I bought it with no motor and put in a Ford 302. I am gonna keep it ugly, kind of a fun car that...
