Re: 04 sti springs on 91 turbo legacy
Ahh, I wondered why you had to swap to earlier top hats in a 92-94 OP what do you mean with the FWD? Looks like you have a 91 ss so I'm not sure why that's relevant...As far as the ride height, it's possible that my springs were worn out, which would explain it lifting a bit, but it was still a nice...

Re: 04 sti springs on 91 turbo legacy
I keep hearing about different ride heights, there seems to be a lot of variation there and I'm not really sure why...I ran 04 strut/spring in the front, and 06 strut/spring with 91 tophats in the rear, and the car sat about 1/4" higher than stock and was totally even all around.

Re: coilover how to get perfect setup?
I believe that's only if you compress it past the point where it would rest at on the ground, but that's just something I read about it. Either way there is no reason to adjust that.

Re: coilover how to get perfect setup?
Don't touch the the springs, leave them how they were set up, they should be just touching the seats, not tight and not loose. To adjust ride height you should be rotating the lower mount(where it bolts to the hub assembly) and not the spring perches. As far as ride goes, all you can do is adjust th...

Re: WTB some KC lights for fog lights
I think they're 100w, also I don't want to sell them just saying they do exist, at some point I'll put them to use. Turns out they're actually $30 there, I think mine were 10-15 on sale though, which they do all the time.

Re: WTB some KC lights for fog lights
I don't see them on their either, might have to go in store, I have two but haven't tried them so I can't say how good they are.
Obviously real ones will be better though if he's got some for you^^

Re: WTB REAR SWAY BAR
I highly recommend Rallitek, great bar, great price, and great service. But you do have to modify the spare tire well hump to fit it.
I have one for sale but it'd probably cost you more in the end for me to ship it than to just get a new one(plus I don't really wanna ship it).

This stuff makes me  Hate to say I told you so. But I hope you guys that are stuck with it get what you need. At ease, Chief. This was still the best idea and implementation up to that point. The unfortunate flaking of Mike without ay least passing the hardware onto someone else was not any mo...

Re: BOV noises
Mine is pretty damn loud with the stock bpv. Desnorkus, coffee cup mod, and intake will all make it much louder, and will cost less than a BOV It's a rally car though, it won't sound exactly like that without some serious work. Part of what you're hearing is the turbo itself, ours are tiny and low b...

I know it sounds sketchy, but we're not talking about your average scotch tape here, the stuff is ridiculous, the skirts aren't going anywhere.

Re: wtb: any side skirts that fit a 1994 ss
Why no double sided tape? I've been told it works pretty damn well. Some cars actually have their spoilers(and various trim pieces and whatnot) held on with it from the factory

Re: wtb: any side skirts that fit a 1994 ss
I believe they need to be modified, but it's easy to shorten sideskirts, lengthening is not easy, I know WRX sideskirts are too short, and I'm pretty sure GC Impreza are as well.

Re: FS: Rallitek rear sway bar, Turbo rear seat, possibly et
I did, and it was awesome! I love it, really nice quality piece too. I'm selling it because my car is too low for the endlinks, and I'd rather spend my money on my M3 than modding the Legacy more. The steering wheel is wrapped in something, leather? Idk  No tears or anything in the seat, only t...

Re: HOWTO: remove instrument cluster
That dash bezel is pretty flexible, you can get it in and out with the without unbolting anything on the steering wheel easy enough.
And +1 on disconnecting the speedo cable. Unplug it by the transmission, don't unscrew, things a PITA to screw back in.

Rather just have the money for the M3, and some is just taking up space. Prices OBO Rallitek rear anti sway bar for a 92-94, 20-24mm?(they're really inconsistent with claimed sizes) and end links, plus new extra bushings, maybe 15k miles on it. $130+your stock sway/links for a 92-94.
