WTB Drivers Side Front Door

Hi all,

Looking for an electric front drivers side door. If possible crimson pearl and rust free. Preferably from within Canada.

Thanks,
Mark

It'll take a good couple hours, plus the time waiting for resin/bondo to dry.

Basically I just took a stock scoop, cut the top part of the scoop at both ends (just before it curls down to the base). I cut almost all the way leaving a 1/4 inch at the back, and curled the top of the scoop up 3/8". I then scruffed the inside of the soop and added 2 layers of fiberglass clot...

Rainy day and bordom (Scoop)

Well after getting a tmic I figured the stock scoop is way too small to be effective. I wanted a larger "factory" looking scoop that looked like it belonged there. RS and WRX scoops look way out of place imho. I used a stock old scoop I had laying around as a base. The opening ended up bei...

Removing hoodscoop

Anyone else have difficulty removing the scoop on turbo models? I notice the little studs are pressure fit into the plastic scoop, and all the nuts are seized on mine. So the hole stud turns, argh! Anybody found a good way to get the nuts off???

Metal Filings in Oil

Just did an oil change and found metal filings in the oil! The engine has been running fine. I'm concerned since it only has 250K Km's on it and I've always taken care of the motor (full synthetic oil and good quality filters). Whats the most common cause for filings in an EJ22T??

Thanks,
Mark

If your really serious, you could always get the side skirts, rear bumper lips and aero mudguards from a wrecker overseas. 89-93 Legacy/Liberty RS's came with these parts. North American models got screwed. I think it makes the car look 10x better.

Hey there,
I pmed you. I was thinkin, if you have access to rust free corners. Like the rear rockers and quarter panels that would be the simplest. forming new metal is a pain in comparison. I still think white suits these cars great, they just dont look good in exotic colors IMHO.

Sold her off locally, and a few months later it ended up in a head on collision with an SUV. The new owner got out with some minor bruises, lucky guy! A shame, it was ready for the scrapper before i found it, spent 2 yrs or so workin on it.

SO, labeling a Legacy an "STi" would be incorrect, because there was, infact, never a Legacy STi

I agree, if you don't take car of that rust, irregardless of having skirts, the rust will spread past the skirts and look like total crap.
