groovy
Agree with wfoot. An old crank and old bearings can have a lot of crank movement.
If this is rebuild then just try and set it in a different spot so the groove does not interfere.
Again dont block the oil passage.

Wonder if the seafoam dissolved the new silicone you used? Brake clean it all off and then look to see where the leaks come from. You have to have a good light. Is it from down low like at the oil pan, are the valve covers wet or dry. You can undo the pitch rod and engine mount nuts to raise the eng...

A few more things to try.
Rambling things off... thinking is there Air / Fuel / Spark. My JDM injector rails had four plugged injectors probably from the accident it was in or from sitting in fuel for who knows how long. I unhooked the fuel line after the filter and turned the key on and had massive flow and reconectted. nex...

oil squirter
Hmmm I would probably use a magnetic oil pan drain plug till you recover the squirter. Short of tearing the engine in half the only thing you can do is make sure the oil pump can deliver all it can. If it hasnt been done to your knowledge remove the pump and reseal it. This "only" involves...

tmic pipe
Using the 06 tmic with a 02-05 wrx silicone hose I had to lengthen silicone "Y" hose going to the vf39 about and inch. I think with this combo Frantic 4 also installed the same with a For XT silicone kit fit a lot easier between the intercooler inlets.
