I have the CES TBE installed on my '91 Legacy Sport Sedan 5M/T now, and am very impressed with its performance, quality and appearance. It should have only taken about five days to get it from Australia but it missed its flight because of customs in Memphis Tenn. and then there was the July 4 holida...

In January of 2003 I bought a set of Subaru floor mats for my 1994 Legacy LSI from Larry Miller Subaru in Boise Idaho (208-947-6300) for $38.45(total with shipping). The mats were $19.95, shipping to Bremerton Washington was $18.50. A set is kind of heavy. You should give them a call. They might hav...

Thanks for the advice. It stays on then. You saved me! Unrelated, but recent work--changed the fuel filter, and PCV valve out, result is smoother running engine. Not sure when the fuel filter($25.49) was changed last, but the PCV valve($4.04) did have CRUD inside. Parts from drivewire.com.

Heat riser removal.

'91 Sport Sedan, 5mt. Is it neccessary to have the heat riser-shielding(correct name?) installed on the turbo? It looks like it would be easier to check for oil leaks and to see joints in that area better if it was removed. Your thoughts, advice is appreciated.

A couple of months ago I developed a smell of burning oil on my 91 Sport Sedan. You could smell it after you parked, and when at a stop it came in the vent like Laurel's did. Changed the right valve cover gasket and the rubber grommet things that go around the bolts. Fixed the problem. $23 form alls...

I had a '90 Loyale that had that fuse holder that had FWD on it, and it was to be used when you had your car towed.

On 1/15/03 I bought a set of the tan floor mats for my '94 LSI Sedan from Larry Miller Subaru in Boise Idaho. #SOA440B144, $19.95. $18.50 freight, total$38.45. They might have other colors also. They are heavy enough that is why shipping was so high.

My feeling now is that there are some wiring issues also. I am taking the car to a Stellar Performer dealer(Peninsula Subaru, Gorst Wa.) in a couple of weeks for a used car inspection, because I should sell this car(no room for it). Some interested parties have asked about having this check done bef...

As I said earlier I did change out the knock sensor(code22) with part 22060AA031 and the valve assy-sol(purge solenoid valve), code35, with part 14774AA351. As you know this was not a really fun thing to do. Even with these parts replaced the codes reappear(22,23,35). The car will not start with the...

When the black connectors were hooked up the codes showing were22,23, and 35. The car starts right up(except when green connectors are hooked up), and generally runs OK. 174,000 miles and the car is in good condition. Keep diognosing and I will keep checking and trying things. Thanks.

CEL code 22,23,35

Changed out the knock sensor, and the purge solenoid valve. Not a picnic! The codes still appear after doing the battery disconnect. When the green connectors are hooked up the electric fan cycles on and off and a clicking sound comes from the duty solenoid valve. The car will not start with these c...

'91 Legacy SS 5M/T CEL

Just bought this car and the CEL comes on. The previous owner said he ran the codes(not sure how he did this), and something about the EGR valve came up. Any idea what he might be referring to, or what the problem and fix is? Thank you in advance.
