I have also been running a ghetto turbo'd 100% stock Phase II ej22e since '04 simple to do.... If your ej22e is dual port don't even bother with swapping heads to Turbo Legacy heads as they do not have roller rockers & have 1MM smaller valves (?-Exhaust) so they'll be a slight downgrade. I'd thi...

I think folks may be saying N/A cable tranny because Legacy versions should be 4.111 final drive. You can convert a N/A cable tranny to hydro all you need is the N/A slave cyl off a Rs, & the hydro T/O bearing fork. You already have the pedals & master. But You'll need a N/A flywheel & c...

I think you said the actuator boost level was 9psi & the MBC was not increasing boost.
If so I'd think something was wrong with the MBC connections if the actuator was boosting properly on its own.

Bolt ons that are cheap & will free up a few HP are K&N Drop in filter ($50 or less) Light Weight Crank Pulley ($60 Group A pulley) Synthetic diff oil ($20 or less - I used Redline 75W90) These 3 things should free up about 10 crank HP & all give a noticeable acceleration improvement (as...

With 9:1 compression, even if you ran an ecu temp sensor wire and pinned it out, you're going to have problems. Once the turbo ecu sees that the knock sensor is going crazy it will pull timing until your car was slower than it was before. Stock 22ts are on an extremely conservative tune and will al...

My TD05 had to be machined but I used a TD05-14B off an Eclipse as a donor (which I believe is flatbacked) since they are cheap, share the same turbine wheel with the TD05-16G, & fit right into Subaru TD05 e-housings. I'm having the turbo clipped & fresh oil seals put in while everything is ...

Not sure what you are trying to say/ask, but you can put a 20G wheel/housing on a 16G no problem. The backplate may have to be machined for everything to fit (flat vs superbacked wheels) & you should have everything balanced but its not too expensive to do. I'm having a TD06-20G / TD05 Hybird bu...
