Re: TD05-16G Failure... what next?

There is a place here south of Seattle that I took my TD05 for a complete rebuild that included hotside coating. I think it was $400 after tax.

Re: BC/BF Side Skirt Install How-To

They install pretty similar to the ones on the Impreza RS. Pop over to the RS25 forum and read the how to. In fact you might have to pick up a few of the plastic insert pieces.

Re: Replacement options for factory 5 speed on a 92 legacy t

It's not just the final drive that makes it better or worse. It's the gearset AND the FD that make it good or bad.

Engine choices

If you are only looking for 200-250 then you would be wasting money to go with any swap. I put down about 220hp 250 tq on a 22t. I am only running 14 lbs with room for a lot more - the heads being my restricting factor. One car is a Rob 20g ecu the other is a PP6. I beat early WRX's and keep up with...

Replacement options for factory 5 speed on a 92 legacy turbo

Unless you get an STI transmission you will have to swap the rear diff also. People have been trying the newer legacy turbo trannys. The 06-07 WRX have a 3.70 rear making for some pretty awesome highway gears. Our swapped RS has it and the highway gas mileage rocks.

Heated Mirror Switch Install how-to

My power folding adds two wires. I assumed the heated only adds one as it would use the common ground. Since the plug only has six wires ( I think) I thought I did a power folding how to. If not I can.

The TIME HAS COME! (SADLY) Ultimate Garage sale-(updated)

So, I have run out of garage space, and my truck needs to go. But I also need to replace it, which means selling ALL of my legacy stuff. YES- THAT MEANS TWO CARS AND 10+ Years of PARTS. While it pains me, I knew it was coming. SO, in the next few weeks, I will be posting stuff here first. I will be ...

Re: WTB: SS hood in Western Washington

I made a backing vent piece for my white SS and it's about half the size of the one on the RS and a third the size of the one on the STi. I have an RS scoop I cut the mounting brackets smooth on you are welcome to use. My AWIC just runs circles around the 06-07 intercooler the white one has.

Re: WTB: SS hood in Western Washington

If you are going to be doing TMIC, doing a DIY hood with a WRX scoop is going to be a better investment. You are not going to get much of any airflow through an SS hood. Agree here. Maybe suggest getting the intercooler and the scoop and backing plate that goes on the same car. Put longer studs on ...
