Re: Stubborn rear subframe bolt

Grind off the head. The subframe can then be removed, and the heat from the ginding will probably have broken the threads loose. If not, keep heating it with a torch. Grind two flat spots on the stub opposite each other, and use Vise-Grips to extract it.

Crossmember will bolt in, not sure about the connections on the rack. I'm using an RS rack in mine, you might be OK.

Re: Just wanted to say hi plus ?'s on 94 legacy 22t

Hello, & welcome! Given halfway decent maintenance, these motors easily last 250K. Try to get details from the seller like if the timing belt has been replaced (60-80K interval) During the test drive, make sure there's no torque bind in the transmission, which will feel like wheel hop or driveli...

The bright spot in all this is, it's only the fenders that rust... the body almost never rots.

Re: EDM Headlight Score

Another thing to remember is that they got the facelift a year earlier; a '91 EDM/JDM etc is a facelift car with the new-style headlights. Check the pics carefully if no mfg date is listed. '89-90 is pre-facelift.

BC Legacy cameo in Planet Terror?

BMW E-36 headlights into BC/BF?

Anyone ever tried experimenting with a set of these headlights? E-code ones are sweet w/ ellipsoid projectors. Looks roughly the same size as ours, maybe closer to facelift size, but the inner angle where it hits the grille is wrong... mounting would be a nice puzzle, unless you graft the lense &...
