Eric memory is not what it used to be. This car got a roughly 25K WRX block, so not closed deck. But otherwise what you state above is correct.
Robert took good care of it, should be fun for whomever the lucky buyer ends up being.

Sorry I have not been on here much during our move :( Adam, there would be NO benefit or need for larger injectors unless you are running a larger turbo and more boost. With more CFM's being pushed through your motor, more fuel is needed. We have a customer running 16psi on a VF39 using these 440's,...

Our experience is that the stock ECU will adapt to these injectors although others might suggest otherwise. We passed emissions catless with these injectors on a stock ECU. Idle fine, etc. Have 4 or 5 customers now running these with no EM. Make sure you have a good O2 sensor in when first installed...

No lockage, this site needs more drama, it's good to keep the locals on their toes :D I might get flamed for this but I'm pretty much agree with ramathorn. Purpose built, no, the legacy is not. Pure performance, no, wrong again. But they are as 555 points out, a detuned performance car for the publi...

Re: c
I think maybe it's more of a problem with longer V8 cranks sitting for decades.. Storing it vertical would be MUCH worse. Apparently solids can flow. I was in Europe last year and saw first hand how old glass windows are thicker at the bottom. Freaky. Anyway, I am probably the cheapest one here on ...

We were all newb's at one point....I still am about a lot of stuff  If you can do headgaskets, you should be able to make the 2.5 run. I think your ecu adapts for this no prob, simply put your car back together like stock substituting the 2.5 block, somebody other than me should tell you what h...

I think you are looking at this a little wrong. The whole point of the stroker build you ask about is to get more displacment from the famed closed deck EJ22t block. This is the largest closed deck block Subaru produced so it was natural that aftermarket folks wanted to squeeze some more displacemen...
