Yes between the two cats. As for the outher set it should bolt up but not sure of any clearance issues and also need to bulid a pipe with o2 bung and a bracket to keep it from vibration. wow, i drive as a delivery driver in alaska with my three legacys and thats is one of the worst roads i've seen. I'm sure most or all didn't have winter tires on. In utah do they carry studded tires? I've lived in alaska forever and forget that some places don't have tire change over season.

the ecm in our cars gets speed signal from speedometer , if the cable is hooked up and your speedometer is reading should be (electrical) a signal going to ecm.

I would look at the connector that goes to the fan swich. mine was doing the same thing and found the connector was melted not getting good contact.

my alternator was still charging fine and tested good but when it got colder than 20 degrees it would just turn over and flood out. the only way I found it was I forgot to plug it back in after changing t-belt. Ihad the same issue but found out my alternator drawing power. I unpluged it every morning till i was sick of it, changed it no more starting issues. not sure if it will fix yours.

I always use that cheap purple power degreeser from wal-mart and spray it in side where the valve is and let it work . A brush works good to get up in deep (very small brush) and keep spraying it tell you don't see any more greese coming out rince with water dry it and I always hit with brake clean ...

I would take IAC off and clean it good . I have almost the same setup in mine and clean it about once a year or when it starts hunting for idle.

you may need to jack the engine slightly, to slide cover off from there you can press on the rocker to see if the lifter is collapsed. remember to roll engine over so the lifter(valve lash adjuster) is not on the cam lobe . I deliver lost luggage for the airlines and sum deliverys are 600 miles round trip, alaska is a big state. I looked at the 98 and I was wrong the real mileage is 615,983. I've been trying to post pics and have them on flicker not sure how. won't let me cut and paste.

hi i'm new to this forum but has been a long time reader. I seen this post and had to join. I own a delivery service and run two first gen legacy and one second gen. 92 has 300,586 as soon as i can find out how to post pics I will. my 90 460,000 and 98 has over 560,000 i will look and take pic.
