That's a phaseII EJ22, so it won't be easy to find. But I doubt you're going to need to replace it.

Well, the engine code is stamped, but all it says is EJ22. If it's single port, we know it's at least post-95, and it's most likely interference. If it's the same timing belt then it's not the phase II engine. So I'm guessing you have the interference version of the Phase I EJ22, which was (commonly...

I've had no problems. The beam pattern is easy enough to work with.

I would guess that the projectors are better, but aiming them properly is the real trick.

Luckily, it is possible to aim them so they do a nice job but still stay out of people's eyes. I'm very happy with mine.
