A little bit of oil leaking really isn't a problem. A lot of oil is. Check to see how much oil you're using between oil changes. I don't lose much oil at all. I can't tell at all when I check my dipstick right before an oil change. But, I do have a lot of old oil laying around on the bottom of my en...

Wow. Another automotive hypochondriac like myself. I go nuts every time I see something new on my car. It's a good thing though. The oil looks normal near the oil pan. You should see mine. Just keep an eye on it from time to time. If it suddenly gets way worse or you leave puddles like the Exxon Val...

I had my Honduran neighbors do the chutch in my Legacy. They may not know a lot of english, but they speak wrench fluently. And they work on cheap weed, which I've never turned down either.

I had this problem. I would hear the noise and I would smack the ABS box and it would go away. I swapped the relays under the plastic ABS box and it hasn't been a problem since. I got the new relays from Blackbart, the best used parts pirate in the sea, or um, land that is. I suppose you might be ab...

I take that back. I'd own a Shelby Mustang like the one in Gone in Sixty Seconds. I don't have the money to buy/insure one, but I'd gladly accept one if it came my way. Other than that, friends don't let friends drive Fords.

Welcome to Legacy Central. The noises these cars make sometimes drives me nuts too. The exhaust pinging is normal and a little burning oil smell is typical for a car that old, depending when the new/used engine was put in. As long as you don't see smoke or the smell is overpowering. Bottom line, the...

Well, out of all the American cars, I'd say I'd still rather own a GM. But they are still nowhere near the top of my list. The S-10 I sometimes drive at work ain't too bad, for an S-10 that is. I almost got killed in a Ford, though I'd consider an '87 Mustng fastback just because they're cheap to fi...

My comment was geared towards the mention of the HHR and Asstek. Man are those things deserving of a failgoat or what? As for the Z cars, they have always had their quirks here and there, but their demand even today speaks volumes of their overall quality. Much respect has to be given to any car tha...

I really don't care for anything that GM is producing nowadays. Since the mid 90's they have really been going to the shitter. I absolutely hate how they throw a supercharger and a bodykit on a relatively poorly made econo-shitbox and claim it appeals to people who are in the market for "sporty...

I'm telling you, we need to find a way to use something totally useless to fuel our cars. Garbage, lawyers, politicians, substandard marijuana - anything which has little or no use. I'm leery about even using water, though it would be a noble idea, because we need water to live dammit.
