Re: Fuel pump 1993 Legacy HELP
Before you order a new pump you may want to connect the green diagnostic connectors which will cycle the relays and cause the fuel pump to cycle on and off.
As for the size, I'm not sure which one is the correct one to fit the stock sender unit.

Re: Anything new for updating injectors?
I have a modified 95 JDM WRX ECU with ESL software for tuning. Are the side feeds a drop in or do I need the fuel rails also. What about a FPR? Assuming you're using an ej22t motor. You need to use the rails from a 92-94 non-turbo ej22. Those will allow the use of the STi and compatible side feed i...

Re: 20g vs 25d intake manifold
Hey, Legacy777 I know this is an older post, but I have a spare unmodified v1/v2 EJ20G intake and a 25D intake. I’ll see if I can get some flow numbers comparing the two. The other 20G intake I have is ported, but it’s on the car currently. If I take that one off at some point I’ll flow test it. Th...

Re: 1997 Impreza Coolant Overflow Issue
Yeah, mine was similar. I couldn’t really figure out what the issue was. I assume it’s probably head gasket related but was unable to definitively prove it.
If you’re able to figure out the cause and any additional details please update this post.
Thanks

Re: 1997 Impreza Coolant Overflow Issue
Did you ever find a fix for this problem. I have the same issue on my 94. Never overheats but pushes coolant. Unfortunately I never did. I checked for hydrocarbons in the coolant and didn't find any. I sold the car to a friend and he drove it and didn't have issues. So either the coolant level drop...

Re: Why do I keep having to login?
What browser are you currently using? If you using the default browser (windows IE or Edge) (mac Safari), you can install a different web browser and use that to check how the BBS comes up and if you have the same issue where it logs you out. I would suggest Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox https://...

Re: Why do I keep having to login?
It's probably a cookie thing.
There is a link at the bottom right of the site where you can delete cookies. Try that first. If you still have issues delete the history and cookies in your browser.
If you use a different browser and come back with that same browser does the issue still occur?

Re: Anything new for updating injectors?
What are you planning to do for engine management? I have found for my setup with the TD05-16G turbo, 550 injectors, and 220 Delta cam I could probably use a little more fuel. Maybe 600's would be the sweet spot and I could get a little more out of the turbo. The 550 side feeds from the STi and othe...

Revscan is a defunct tuning software. I've tried to mirror what I can from their site. I have the page with the software if you want to play around with it.

Re: Leak from oil filler neck...part number?
I would suggest getting a new o-ring from Subaru. You can buy it online or from your local dealer.
The part number is 806923060

Re: 95 impreza ej22t swap keeps dying while driving
Welcome to the BBS and sorry no one has replied yet. To make sure I am understanding the issue. You had an ej22t swap in an Impreza wagon and due to rust issues you swapped the engine and harness into a 95 Impreza? I had an issue in the past with my Legacy where it was sometimes randomly die. It tur...

Re: ATF leak between pump and transmission '93 Legacy
Yeah, I removed my AT from the bottom of the car. It is a pain to get out. If you have a lift and or a means to get the car high enough so you can use a transmission jack it will certainly help. Pay attention to the torque converter and that it doesn't get unseated and then pressed back. It could da...

Re: How to install new springs and struts
You should be able to determine the orientation of that mount based on the angle of the car mounting location and bolt hole orientation.
How did you install the rear mounts in relation to these orientation pictures? How does the bolt hole orientation on the car look like?

I would suggest starting with the fluid change.
Also, try putting the gear selector in 2 or 3 and see if that improves the responsiveness or not.

So it's the upper spring perch is what should have the "OUT" listed on it. The mount itself won't. So is the mount itself not symmetrical?

I just looked and the factory service manual says there is a marking on the top of strut top hat that says "OUT". This should be facing outside of the body.

Re: Post head gasket frustration
Agreed, if you can post pictures of the broken tab of the crank sensor that would be helpful and may be a good starting point along with a replacement crank sensor as arse_sidewards suggested.
