The stock 2.2T fuel pump actually is more powerful than a USDM STI fuel pump. Now if you were NA and going turbo, then yes, definite upgrade the fuel pump. Otherwise if you are just doing a TD04, you are probably fine on the fuel pump. Walbro 255lph aftermarket fuel pump =/= STI fuel pump I'm gonna...

Hmm...got any PB blaster or wd40 even? That stuff can help a lot getting bolts and nuts unstuck...spray thread and between nuts, let soak in for 5 mins, tap with a rubber mallet, try wrenches again.

Thanks for the photo! I would imagine that you'll need 2 wrenches, one for each nut...so you can hold one while turning the other.
