Well, then maybe I should do that but I also need the pins and wires. Mine are all melted.

Re: Wcss 18
Last year it was at port Townsend again and that location is small and has no indoor areas for the high dollar cars and some of the not as high dollar but very clean cars. So none of those guys showed up. The weather sucked because they did the show too late in the year and for some reason almost no...

Something ridiculous like $12 plus shipping. Mike, I've got a dual diaphragm booster I'll trade you.

They weren't ever banned. Myself, cj and maybe one other car got banned because we were guilty by association. They lifted the ban though and I went last year and it was pretty shitty. One reason I'm not too bummed about not going this year.

Re: kimokalihi's 91 SS EJ20 Swap
I got nothin but time at this point. Trying to wait it out til someone can send me one. The car will be down potentially for years but if I get it finished before the plug is replaced I'll use a different connector.

Interesting. I hated mine. I've only heard like opinons on it. Good to know. I suppose, if you you don't like your legacy pedal feel, try this mod out.

Single Diaphragm Brake Booster Upgrade Write-Up
Our cars have a dual diaphragm brake booster which creates a noticeable "two stage" brake pedal feel that is undesirable to some. You can distinctly feel two levels of firmness in the brake pedal as it travels through it's range of motion. The first stage is spongy and soft which makes ble...

Re: kimokalihi's 91 SS EJ20 Swap
A year ago I did a full brake caliper rebuild when I was having problems with my brakes not releasing. I just finished a quick and dirty write-up on that (not that quick. Took a couple hours to upload all the pics and organize it all.) and the link to that is right here Brake Caliper Rebuild Write-U...

Brake Caliper Rebuild Write-Up
This isn't going to be a complete how-to guide but I will show some pictures I took along the way and a couple tips to make it easier. I had never done this before and found very little information on it when searching the web. Most people don't do this anymore because rebuilt calipers are generally...

Re: kimokalihi's 91 SS EJ20 Swap
I'm going to try to finally post some updates on the forum including a write-up or two on a couple mods I've done to my car. I don't have the kind of free time I used to have and these things take a lot of time to post. I have a ton of pictures to upload and most are on my PC. They probably won't be...

Re: EJ20G swapped SS issues
How did you check for spark? Have you checked for fuel? Get a fuel pressure tester inline? Compression check? Did it run after you got the car or are you getting it non-running? Maybe there is a kill switch somewhere disabling the ignition or the fuel pump.

Re: Swapping EJ20E for a Forester EJ20G?
Wow that's a steal of a deal. I am running that engine from a 97 jdm forester in my 91 legacy with an obd1 Sti ecu. I had to use my cars throttle body due to the different tps on the obd1 cars and modify the engine harness to have the proper plug for the tps. I also had to convert my ignition wiring...

Re: '99 Legacy GT sedan, WRX swap
There's tons of Facebook groups. I like the 1st gen/2nd gen legacy group the best but pnw buy sell group is good too. A legacy central group would be cool too but with the existance of the 1st gen 2nd gen legacy group, what's the point? There's like 2k members in that group and its much more active ...

Speaking of Saturday, we can have our first meet at my house this Saturday. Bbq and bonfire and badminton and beer pong and maybe corn hole at my house about 5:30pm. First annual we hate gabe meet.

Good to know Jess. Nice find. If there's other vehicles out there that use the same ecu connectors, perhaps there is also a cheaper patch harness that's similar to the aem one that costs $130.

Re: '99 Legacy GT sedan, WRX swap
Damn you get all the good deals. I was just drooling over this car at the chevron by the great wolf today as it was parked on the opposite side of the pump and I looked over and thought I saw you in it as it drove away. I was like,"man there goes gabe with another Badass legacy. Lucky bastard.&...

Re: RckyMtnLegacy's 93 Turbo...EJ20G swap in progress!!
Looks awesome bud. Honestly the COP conversion and ej20g ecu wiring is pretty minimal and easy. Nothing to stress about. I take it you came across my write-up on converting? Definitely recommend proper crimps instead of soldering for reliability and longevity.

Autodimming Mirror w/compass + Homelink
Brand new in box with harness and installation instructions. Bought this year's ago and never installed it. I believe it's from an outback but you can research that for yourself. Subarugenuineparts.com lists this at $153 The part number on the instructions is wrong. The Part number is h7150fj000 on ...

Re: '99 Legacy GT sedan, WRX swap
Looks great with those gold speedlines. Also good with the newer legacy wheels. The car lends itself well to all kinds of wheels it seems.
