Well then it was probably my poor painting skills. Painting always Pisses me off. I always wind up with a bug or specs of dust in the paint.

Re: Both low beams not working, high beams work fine

I've got the same problem on my sister's legacy but low beams only work. On my legacy it's an intermittent thing where sometimes it takes a second to siwth to high beams or sometimes it doesn't come on until I flick the stalk back and fourth a few times.

Re: How to get rid of the yellowed headlights

3m sells a kit at auto parts stores like AutoZone for $30 that comes with a bit your attack in your drill and has a Velcro face with different grit sandpapers. 500, 800, 3000 and a foam buffing pad with compound and a wax. I skipped the wax and used option-coat 2.0. It's a clear resin. Should last a...

Re: RIP 92SS, accident, possible salvage title?

Take it from me, do not accept their offer. It'll be a fight for a month or two but you can get them to come up substantially higher than what they offer you. I did not know this when I crashed mine and they gave me an original offer of $700 to keep the car and I couldn't believe it. I talked them i...

Re: '99 Legacy GT sedan, WRX swap

Damn lucky! Do this in my car. For some reason my car surges when I'm at freeway speeds and get on it. Don't know if it'fuel cut or knock. Did you tune this yet? You even got to keep the ac. That's nice.

Re: CJ's Prefaced 92 SS build 22T/205 Hybrid

It cycles a hell of a lot quicker than a manual and it's controllable by the ECU. The tune he gets on that OBD2 ECU should be able to set the boost at whatever he wants and it should be a lot more accurate.

Re: Enduring Solutions ECU board and why you should buy it

Ha, yeah, the one that I know had cold start issues both before and after was Mike Tracy's car. I did a full EJ20G swap in a '94 SS with 550s and a RobTune for another friend of mine and he had the same issue. Interesting. Mike let me borrow that ecu when I was having issues with codes not going aw...

Re: '99 Legacy GT sedan, WRX swap

I've wanted to do the same thing with my 20g/k heads for a long time. maybe if I get the Esl board agai. I'll give it a shot. Just hard to find a low miles ej22e. My setup has got some undesirable lag compared to when I had the forester higher comp block. I think with a 2.2 or 2.5 it would rock.

That thing is pretty sweet alphius. I'm jealous. An outback bumper would look cool. Are you using the wrx turbo then? What kind of compression ratio? what pistons?

No I don't think I've run it wouthout the chip. I'm quite sure there would be a problem with the 525cc Sti yellowtops if I did.
