Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build

Yeah I am going to roll them for sure. Should have had the painter do it before he painted the car but oh well.

I keep considering that lip but I don’t really like the look, but that rarity really makes me want to buy it.

They weren’t broken when I got them, but they somehow are now. I plan to just fix them since I haven’t been able to find another set of non broken ones.

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build

It runs, and stays running! The problem ended up being just bad fuel. https://youtu.be/1LZsbuN6Nss I can’t drive it yet because I need to change the tie rod ends and can’t get them off. I’ve tried pb blaster and a torch but they won’t budge. If I fail again tomorrow I’ll have the car trailered to th...

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build

Thursday Night Update!

Drained the fuel and then put a couple of gallons of good fuel in. Started the car up, but it dies after 7-10 seconds. I haven't had the time yet to troubleshoot what could be causing this, especially because its still open header and my neighbors already hate me so so much.

Picked up a fuel filter today. Instantly realized that the bracket I tossed a couple months ago was for this.

This connector is right next to the MAF sensor and I cannot figure out what it goes to:

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build

Well thanks to some help and some more help from Josh the car fired up today! It only has a header on it right now because of the crossmember situation so I only let it run for a few seconds. This is supposed to be a video of the car running, but for some unknown reason it is not. https://i.imgur.co...

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build

If you are running a manual transmission I don't think it should be an issue having nothing connected to B48.20. Jumper pins 11 & 12 on the b15 trans connector. Not 1&4. When I have just 11&12 jumped the gear indicator isn’t illuminated at all, which I took as it not knowing what gear t...

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build

I think I was looking at the connector diagram upside down or something. But either way, I jumped pins 1&4 of the B15 trans connector and now the cluster is showing the car is in neutral! It still does not crank, but thats a step in the right direction. https://i.imgur.com/CRtbCrDl.jpg I used so...

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build

Another issue I have run across today. I went to snip the wire going to pin18 of the B36 connector and unless I am mistaken, I do not have this wire either:

These wires are coming from the manual transmission:

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build

It seems my ecu does not have a wire going to pin 20 on the b48 connector. Josh, I see you said to snip OR add a wire, but where should that added wire go?

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build

Ok, a couple things. 1. I cannot find the shift lock controller anywhere under dash. Is it the little box that has the pin on it to release the key? If it is, mine is different than in the manual or Josh's writeup. 2. I need to cut the MT/AT identifier wire. 3. Which one of these is the B15 trans co...

Wired and connected the alternator today: https://i.imgur.com/mWbTM2Ph.jpg Also finally was able to remove my steering column surround without breaking it, so I could get to the key interlock controller. As soon as I took the cover off, the key was no longer stuck and im not sure why. Also, the diag...
