Sorry 'bout the old post bump, and more sorry for the loss. Are the ABM Legacys really worth that much more? I used to have an ABM SS 4eat that I sold locally. I'm wondering if I should let the current owner know... BTW, it is a west coast car. I don't remember seeing any rust on it, at all, but it ...

Rear Diff bolt needed
It is from the rear diff of a '92 Legacy SS. We were able to get one out, but not the other. Someone referred me to part # 800912060, but I am unsure if that is the right one.

Should bolt right up. Just FYI, I just put an '06 tranny with '06 slave cylinder bolted to '91 master cylinder, and everything works beautifully. Subarus are like Legos, which just happened to be my favorite toy when I was a kid. Well put. That's one of the reasons I dig them. I still play with Leg...

'05 WRX Clutch Slave and/or Master Cylinders into SS?
Will an '05 WRX Clutch Slave cylinder work with a '92 SS Master Cylinder? Story: My '92 SS is getting an '05 WRX transmission (and other needed parts). We found that we could not bolt up the stock Clutch Slave Cylinder. My question is, can I just get the Clutch Slave Cylinder from and '05 WRX and bo...

Well. I started the swap. We have the tranny and rear diff/axles bolted up, and the shift linkage hooked up. The center part of the speedo gear just unscrews and comes out. I think it was just a direct swap of the old one into the new tranny (my buddy did it while I was inside looking some stuff up)...

How to put SS speedo into WRX tranny
I'm in the middle of putting a WRX tranny into a '92 SS. 1) How do I get the WRX's speedo gear out (just yank it?), and do I just put the one from Legacy in its place?

From Mulder on NASIOC: If the probe is hanging, the factory oil warning light on the dash will no longer work. Grounding the wire will turn the light on so you don't want to do that, but you should seal it up so it can't short out anywhere and is protected from the elements. If you do want the light...

Do I need to ground stock oil pressure probe?
I've taken out the stock oil pressure probe under the alternator to install an aftermarket probe/gauge. Now that I have taken it out, do I need to ground the stock probe or can I just detach the probe and let the wire hang loose?
