Excuse me, got my terms confused there. Corrected: caster. Ok so obviously axles, umm what about tie rods and ball joints? There were several threads about it on Nasioc and they mentioned that the bushing is wider by about 3mm and it can just be trimmed for use on the Legacy turbo subframe. Or you c...

Do STI aluminum control arms fit?
Product in question: https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/product_info.php?products_id=1194 From what I read on Nasioc, 04-06 (not 07) STI aluminum control arms are the same as Spec-C and they give you more positive caster vs the standard WRX aluminum control arms. I want to switch to the aluminum con...

Nice find indeed! I was dreading the thought of hacking into my stock harness. Which one did you buy? The only 90-94 Legacy harness is for EJ20G, does that fit the EJ22T ECU? This thread has given me so much inspiration. Slodrive you are full of innovation. We should get together some day and see wh...

I totally respect the MS people. Subaru's are different cars and attract a different crowd of tuner's, that's one reason I can think of why MS isn't more popular. It seems like more people are willing to just plop down the cash for a Link or some other mainstream standalone. I can't blame the guys d...

Wow that is insanely frustrating. You were just fishing!!! Someone just finished telling me a story of what they did for their weekend and this is what it involved: Going to the club and throwing beer bottles off of the top balcony into the dance floor on people. He lied about that one to the manage...

LOL nice story! Being a frequent customer of Autozone CV axles I've never had a problem, but I do realize they are lower quality. I guess they just machine out used CV axles and install bigger bearings. There is no hardening or coating on the axles to make them stronger or last longer so they wear o...

Really anything is possible. The fitment is the same for our cars as it is for any other Subaru. So you could bolt up a turbo from a WRX (TD04) or an STI (VF34/VF39) but there are a number of other things you would need to change to make it work. You could even go with a rotated turbo, or a custom t...

This happens a lot. I've heard of it before. Mine were all in somehow when I checked them. Some people just take them out and cap the holes when they rebuild their engines because they think that the squirters will just fall out anyway and don't really do anything. I dunno, I just kept mine. They se...

PP6 is pretty popular for OBDII cars but if you look up threads where people tried to use it on a BC Legacy withan OBDI ECU you'll see a lot of issues with misfires and random bucking. E-Manage Ultimate is popular too, although more expensive. It seems to work better with the OBDI ECU'sthough. The m...

Yes there are still benefits to using a piggyback with the chip. The chip just alters the base map or program of the car and some variables that are internal and cannot be adjusted by the piggyback. An example would be cranking pulsewidths ie; how much fuel is injected on startup. Also things like t...
