But the 'drunk' part is much easier to fix than the other two.

Pull-a-Part doesn't inventory the cars any more than their year, make and model. Now that you mentioned the color code, the car I grabbed the doors off of was 947. Think I need to adjust my monitor b/c your picture looked the same color as my car. Not sure about the wagon there if it's a 946 or 947.

Thanks for posting this - I haven't put together a turbo before so the amount of hoses is daunting. Using the diagrams is nice, but they are more confusing to me because only part of the hoses are shown in each. These detailed pictures are really useful. My mechanic buddy helped put together the lon...

Apparently this is the third accident this year in the North West chapter of NASIOC, and the owner of the club has banned further organized drives in the PNW (with the exception of QMAN4x4's Christmas tree run ) The consensus was - from the people who don't go on drives: Ban them - from the people w...

Learn something new every day. The only time I've spent on the east coast was in the Bangor airport in Maine, and a road-trip vacation to Florida as a child. Station wagons with rear facing seats rule as a kid!

There's two legacy's in that color at the Arlington Pull-a-part. Bodies looked really straight, and I grabbed the doors off of one. Something like $25/each door there

That happened to me on my newer Legacy. What ended up fixing the problem was unplugging/plugging in the ECU and cleaning all the grounds in the engine bay. It took me forever to figure that one out. If I remember right my toyota pickup had similar problems until I replaced the O2 sensor, but that wa...

Hopefully chris can come over this weekend to check that I didn't screw up the hoses too bad. ;) Hopefully I'll ge...

Way to go Steve!! I think you made the right choice. I'm selling my swapped 2nd gen to the mother in law for cheap before snow's on the ground, and have a 1989 Volvo as the backup car once my SS is alive.

Though considering it's probably 150 ish for a set of clutches for both new and you can probably get an aftermarket full rebuild kit for like 200-250 it'd probably be more worthwhile to go that route and replace all the clutches you go through to get to the low & rev brake. BTW rebuilding an au...
