Just wanted to throw out there that I just finished my COP conversion and mainly thanks to this thread and a couple other bits of info around it was a success! Wanted to say thanks for all the ppl on here that put these posts on here for others to learn from(and not make the same mistakes) lol

I put just a tad of butyl under the seal on the body, not the door. I've also hit the seal with some silicone spray(heresy in my line of work) works for a little bit, kinda like viagra for rubber seals, makes them "bigger"

A little mod on the back mounting holes/brackets. At least with 06 STI seats I put in mine I have to mod just the rears.

If its the one I'm thinking of, I fixed the Qtr and replaced the rear bumper (granted, IF it's the same one??) Also it has a completely resealed 22t.

Those boxes only cost about 5 SS's. Maybe more lol. I'm to cheap to buy a box single box, that's why I have like 6 crappy ones full! Congrats on it though! On a side note, I get a lot of subie boxes and bags at work. I install them and make them shinny:)

Not to get off topic, but if everything is working properly the coil pack setup should work fine. I haven't had any issues, and if you happened to look at Nick's build thread the 22B he has runs the same wasted spark coil pack we have on our Legacies. All I can think is its still blowing the spark ...

I haven't gone COP yet, but I'm going to as soon as I stop being lazy. I keep having a stuttering problem under boost, and all I can think is it's blowing the spark out (still) Gonna try it. See what happens. PM an address, I'll send the brkts out in a little.

I went through 3 diff ways to mount my coil my my 20g manifold. I still have the the brkts I made, they bolt to the top 2 mount holes for the throttle body. I ditched this because the 20g with the coil pack on top was too "tall" and rubbed a little on the under side of the hood. If u were ...

Or the tranny filter if it's an auto (obviously)

They are loud and all, but there is nothing like open headers (or in this case open DP ) at WOT, it's music!
