port match the entire top end and do delta cams while the motor is out. can't install cams with the motor in the car. dont think you need any extra fuel that the stock setup cant handle. could be wrong though, never had a wideband on mine lol. some em would be good for adding timing and tweaking the...

i see you decided to pull the trigger, very nice! any idea on how much power its putting down?

you might want to chase the wires to those switches to verify they don't have anything to do with boost or something else that could kill the engine.

the cam and crank angle sensors use a different configuration between these two motors. that is the biggest obstacle. I'd agree with josh, just try to find a stock motor. they are much better motors anyway albeit more expensive.

Like a Detroit diesel? my alma mater(colorado state u) has a program but from what I hear it's very mismanaged with a lot of the aforementioned ego fest as well. kinda speaks to the stereotypical engineers shortcomings LOL. had I gone ME I would probably have tried to participate. seems like a great resume builder as well...
