Re: Car will not start after Turbo to NA swap
Good thing for old school non interference engines. If you had a newer engine in there interference, you would likely be pulling heads and spending money to fix the belt issue.
I like old scoobies that are non interference.

Re: the wonder if the 02-03 WRX seats sit to high..
ive made mods to the rails of the 08+ seats to bolt them into the older cars, they fit perfect afterwards and it wasnt that hard here is mine just had to slot the outer hole front. and drill a new hole for rear inner. and make a small bracket for rear outer. comfy http://i405.photobucket.com/albums...

Re: Saving my TW from cancer
yeah get it soon. Too many people fix the rust, sand, then primer and leave it in primer. If you get to primer stage, then you need to topcoat with paint asap. paint seals it. primer does not.

Re: My barely over a year old cometic gaskets just failed...
save your money no need to buy straight edge, you need to just spend your money on some Subaru OEM HG's..
and be done.
you are not really listening to those who are saying only go with OEM.

Re: 2006 Legacy Wagon 2.5i Special Edition
mkay, WHY did you buy a northeast rusted car, when you can find them rustfree where you live. even the price if it is cheaper is not worth the extra cost of rust and stuck bolts, borken bolts, etc on normal repairs......... I do not get it. WHY. http://i1082.photobucket.com/albums/j376/tomw5/Brat%20...

I heard the LED don't last due to they do not have resisters, and they are not designed for 12v they need resistors to drop voltage way down. How long have you had them?
They will burn out shortly.

Re: Speedo drive gear and driven gear replacement pics
only tip is spray spray spray the retaining ring with penantrant, pb blaster, etc, they are kinda hard to work loose. Since they are alumimium, the little tabs/fins on them crack off easily. take it slow, with a dowel tpy epunch and hammer lightly til they work loose. They are fine threads.
