Depends on the year and whether or not the car is a turbo.

There are 2 types of sensors: a Hitachi hot-wire sensor with an aluminum body, part number 22680AA170, and a JECS hot-film sensor with a black plastic body, part number 22680AA160.

1990 MTs and all 1991-1994 turbos had the Hitachi sensor. All non-turbo ATs had the JECS sensor.

The Hitachi sensor has a fifth pin that's not used on the JECS sensor. I believe this sensor supplies a 5-volt reference voltage from the ECU but do not know for certain.

Other than the fifth pin and the hot-wire vs. hot-film issue, I don't know what differences there are. I do believe they both have the same transfer function.
