I left off the IAC hose and the big BOV hoses since they're simple. I left off the PCV stuff since it's complicated. :)

Hopefully this will be useful for people doing swaps and/or replacing their hoses.

Please send me corrections if I got any of it wrong.

I sent Vikash an email. It wasn't too long ago, maybe a few weeks about his Cornell site going down. More then likely the university took away access, which sucks. I don't know if he had everything backed up. I sure hope so.

My recommendation would be search on google, and see if you can access a cached page. Other option would be to use the internet archive to see if we can suck down those pages.

I worked yesterday sucking down what I could from the internet archive. I've got most of the first gen legacy stuff sucked down. Some of it wasn't d/l'd.

When I get it converted I'll host it on my server.

I haven't had a chance to add Vikash's stuff yet, but it will have its own folder under the subaru directory.

I think the server is down. It just says"Nothing to see here, contact the webmaster."

So I could just go to the auto parts store and buy the correct size hoses and cut them to length?

Added this to the new Intake forum sticky thread, so I will unsticky this thread unless anyone has any major issues with that.

Please consider updating the picture to note that hose J has a pill inside, part number 22326AA090 I think?

I used that diagram to replace my hoses and only found out accidentally that J was special. Luckily I had not thrown it away yet.

Yep absolutely certain. Keeps it from overboosting in fifth gear.
I am not 100% sure on the part number though.

Why, did you already throw away your pill?

I've been running a GM 3-port boost control solenoid since I put in my stand alone. I'll have to look at that hose and see if I can find the pill in it.

I guess without the pill you may have more boost exiting/venting back to the manifold vs. going to the wastegate solenoid. That makes sense. I think you could probably retune the BCS operation to not use the pill if you went with an aftermarket EBC, but that's probably not a big desire.

I'm thinking to replace my lower hose again, this time cutting the factory hose in half to get the pill out. If I do I'll try different drill bits until I find the right size and post it here in case anyone wants to make their own pill.

Yeah I don't know why they used such a big hose just to put a TINY restriction in it. Maybe the pill was an afterthought because it only really makes a difference in 4-5 while going uphill at lower rpm (in my experience)

It's possible you could use a smaller diameter hose with a step up adapter and small length of larger dia. hose to connect to the resonator box.
