Cleaning a cone filter questions....

Post by cj91legss »

Well i bought one of those cheap cone filters at autozone that is washable... ive heard some forum users say something about dish soap and wd-40...

well i need to clea mine bad cuz it's now brown instead of blue... HAH. should of thought about a vaccuum cleaner inside the engine bay instead.

Anyways i would like to clean it tonight i just wanted to get some opinions on how i should go about this...

I was tinking of just getting a bowl with some dish soap and some water in it and using a brush to scrub the dirt off and then a light coat of wd-40

i wouldn't have posted this if i found something when i searched but i didn't find anything so how about some opinions and making this a sticky?
