So i have a question i was just looking over my subaru legacy and i found thing between the runners for the intake and two open ports on the intake ill see if i can upload pictures for you guy other then that i can same the links to the picture.


this im not sure what it was used for

It's the canister purge solenoid. You can take some vacuum hose from the auto parts store and connect one end of the metal pipe to the sensor pipe, and then the other end of the sensor pipe to the little pipe on the throttle body.

This is assuming all the stock emissions control piecese are installed, including the charcoal canister. The canister is behind the passenger's headlight.
