pcv valve tubing routing

Post by muffin77 »

I am slowly fixing up my Subaru and noticed that my pcv valve tubing is completely screwed up. someone put a tee one it and it blew out the side of the intake boot to the turbo. I have it kinda fixed now with a pcv tee I robbed form my ej25d. it doesn't look good though. is the tee that looks like a F the same for a ej22e and 22t? also since my boot is ripped I plan on putting something else there. what do you guys normally put there instead of the stock boot?

Unfortunately, no the F pipe is not the same between the non turbo and turbo motors.

As for the boot, you can try and find one used. There is a board member that can get new ones from Subaru in Canada, or you can get a Samco silicone replacement, or lastly you can try and cobble some different silicone pieces together.
