Resonator Question

Post by Naked Buell »

On the resonator, looking at the resonator as its mounted, at the bottom is a small tit.
Where does that go? I have figured out everything else but that.
Anyone know?

Thanks guys.

Yes I got that diagram but the resonator shows "2" small tits when actually there is only one. Am I missing something. Can someone just look on their car and tell me. Thx

One goes to the vent line of the EBCS (line J) and the other goes to the auxiliary purge line (line Q) on the charcoal canister.

Ok Josh, I went out into the garage grabbed the resonator can and I took a pic. I see what you are saying. It looks like someone tried sealing the high orfice on the can.

So on the new can I having made, just make sure it connects to as if its still the resonator can?

Sorry for the delay in replying.

Yup, it just needs to connect back into the intake piping/resonator like the stock setup.
