headlights - suggestion
since alot of you seem to have the headlight foggin goin on i thought id share my solution to it... if you can get GS40 (that scratch removing stuff they sell on TV and all) just use it on your headlights by rubbin it on there in a circular type motion then rinse any excess off. if you dont have GS40 just about any rubbing compound seems to work.

Okay, but does the yellowing come back? I know many ways to make it go away temporarily and then come back...

I presume a gritty rubbing compound to "scrape" the fogging off, right?

But nothing beats a new set of headlights. Geez, these ones Adam put on the car before he gave it to me are better than the lights on my old GT!!
Much better light output!!

WOAH!! That would fit perfectly in the bottom "foglight" openings!!
Adam, put soome PIAA superwhites in the headlights, but I think the real gain was through installing new headlight assemblies. He also put some secondary CATZ foglight/driving light combos. They come with both a yellow fog lens and a white driving lens. Anyways, these compliment the headlights very well.
I dunno, but my light output is better than my friend's MK4 Jetta.

I've been wanting to rewire the headlight assemblies and wire them directly to the battery for better amperage draw. Also....I need to put on the new headlight lenses I got.....the ones I have are yellowed beyond belief...and are pitted and shit.
Plus if I decide not to go to the HID's, I should probably replace the bulbs I currently have. They are still working, but not sure if they have seen better days.......I'll prob get one and just see which one is brighter.
Probably would get the silverstars from sylvania.

ummm I had thought about this.....the main reason was that I needed a new hood due to a little accident......so....why not get a turbo legacy one
I can probably pick up a buddy's 94 turbo legacy for under 5k. To do a turbo kit, and to do it right......I'd easily spend that. So my thinking as of now.....why spend money on one car, when you can spend less or the same and have two

I used Mother Mag & Aluminum polish. It did a great job of removing the yellowing, and most of the fogging... If I didn't have a new light to compare it to, I'd say it looked as good as new.
Unfortunately, I do have another light... The other one on the same car!
I'll have to see if GS40 works better at equalizing my headlights. Thanks for the tip!
