water is everywhere

this morning i sat in the subie and thare is a lake at my feet. in all four floor boards but the thang is everything is dry. i can not find where the leak is.

Does it smell like coolant or do you have know if there's coolant in your engine or just water?

sunroof is closed and it is not antifreeze honestly im stumped

Did it rain last night? My 90 Leggy has had the windshield replaced and there's some rusting at the top of the windshield and I"m pretty sure that's what's causing moisture to get into my subie. Not sure for yours tho.

Common issue is for the sunroof's drains to get plugged. Then the water ends up INside. Many just seal it closed as it's a PITA to fix, from what I've read....but read up on here about it.

Did you run some cable down the tubes all the way til you had like 4 feet of cable into the tubes? You can often see dirt falling beneath the car when you do this.

i did it with compressed air but possable it did not work the first time. atleast i will not have to pull the sunroof back out. it is heavy and annoying

that was it. i took a hose to it today and saw it leaking near the bottom of the window

Glad to have helped, it's typical of older cars had a Sebring that the convertible top went and didn't find the leak in time... Sucked

That'll do it. One of the earlier things on the expensively long list of remedies to brand new DeLoreans that jacked up the price when they arrived in the US from Ireland was replacing the weatherstripping. The people they had building them had no idea what they were doing—many didn't even own cars—so they would cut the weatherstripping into pieces to make it easier to instal.

now to adress the lake in my trunk. i found it while takeing out my antenna because radio sucks in the mountains. and thare it is right under the antenna in that deep recess to the left filled to the drain tube for the sunroof where it exits the car. put some water in the tube and it drained properlyso it is not that.
any ideas

Stripping on the trunk? Mine has the same issue so tell me what u find

I had that problem for a while. It turned out there was a small rubber plug missing under the tail light. I would check the tail light sealant as well as checking for that rubber plug.

There are also breather flaps behind the bumper....if they are missing, it's possible water is getting in from there....but I would start with the tail light first.
