Window Adjustment

Post by SubyFusion »

Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the windows???
When the window is rolled down and I shut the door it sound horrible, like the window is really loose!
Is this normal?

Also I am getting scratches on the windows as well, from what looks to be some kind of guide maybe? is there a way to fix this? as the scratches are getting worse and worse!

Let me know what you know

Thanks

It's pretty normal for the window regulator and associated stuff to make some noise when the window is down. The guides that touch the window are made of felt or similar material. If you are getting large scratches the felt may be worn off. With the window down you should be able to look down into the window with a flashlight and see if the felt like material is still present on the guide.

Mine are doing the same thing. The stabilizers are pretty cheap. 62310AA001 for the outer and 62310AA010 for the inner. I believe it's 2 of each per door, but I may be mistaken.

You can download the parts book from me and look for the part # in there.
