Rear lip, sedan or wagon?

Post by ShorelineScooby »

On the jdm rear lip, does it matter whether it not it is sedan or wagon? Met a guy with a wagon lip and neither of know if it'll fit my sedan.

a member on this sitr rrecently reported that the wagon lip is to long on the sides. He planned to trim them to fit and cover the cut ends with mudflaps.

Rear skirts are different between the sedan and wagon. The wagon lip is longer on the sides returning toward the rear wheels.

Sedan rear lips were not available in the US and it would have to be sourced from overseas. I had a member on RSLibertyClub ship one for me when I had a sedan.

The wagon lip can be modified, but it will change the way the lines flow from the side skirts to the rear lip.

I will be selling my sedan rear lip at some point in the future, but it will not be cheap.

Somebody should jump on this offer to get the sedan rear skirt shipped over to the USA land....I had to beg people to send it here from Australia when I got mine.

This rear lip completes the look of the car with sideskirts...it was one of m,y favorite exterior mods. These sedan lips are unicorns in the US.

Yup im just in the process of getting it out of my shed (not an easy feat, its behind a lot of other stuff), then ill get some photos off. I am really not sure which si the best way to ship though, thus far the places i've checked are wanting an arm and a leg just on shipping.

I remember it was fairly expensive to ship.....but you got to pay to play. It was worth it for me.
