Buy bigger tires, I'm not sure if there is a way to adjust or change the gear. I found if I changed to 195/70/14 on my wife's and 205/55/16 my speedo is closer.

I'd concur with the tire size change if you're super-anal. There's online calculators that will tell you how high or low a certain tire size will make it.
But 5mph is within normal error margin anyways, unless you live somewhere like Virginia where tickets for 2mph over are common.

I honestly wouldn't trust run of the mill phone-based GPS to be 100% accurate. The fact that it varies by app kind of confirms its not.

They are common for trucks and muscle cars. Haven't really heard of them for anything else.

You would need something like one of these adapters.

I don't see why something like this couldn't be made to work.
It might require a little customizing of the cable, but would think it should work.

This would tie into the speedo cable.
I would personally put it somewhere in the engine bay that is easily accessible. You would need to find a shop that would gear one specifically for you. More than likely they'll want to know how much your speedometer is off. Like I said, you need to talk with the shop that you would be buying one from.

I live in va and know of no place where 2mph tickets are common, but if that's true I would like to know about it...please?
