Hey! I just bought a JDM 180km Speedo.

Its necesary to change the speedometer cable?

No, there's no reason to change the cable. The speedo gear in the transmission may be off though, but changing that requires opening the transmission.

Lucesdisco: Don't you have an electronic speedo? It will say 'electronic' on cluster if it is. I dont believe the Japanese legacys got electronic Speedos.

Its a JDM 180KM from a 2.0 TZ Wagon. Not electronic, normal speedometer, my speedo goes to 240km from a Touring Wagon GL 1.8 EDM.

I think I'll have no problems with measures of kilometers after installing
