Front lips for an NA bumper?

Post by Subiekid94 »

Are there any lips you can fit on an NA bumper? I got one of th he 06-07 sti ones off ebay and it doesn't line up near as good as it does on a turbo bumper. Are there any that would fit better?

to get a better fit use a heat gun and bend the lip of your choice to the car. I attach the ends at the wheels then heat, bend, and add screws etc as I go from one side tot the other. Use the low setting on the heat gun

I already did some retro fit of a MK3 jetta lip, almost was a perfect fit with no bending and heating it up.

the heat and bend method will increase the choice of lips you can use. I had one from an astro/safari van fit on my 00 forester

I had talked to a friend who has a shop and mainly does bodywork/painting and he had told me if I were to heat up the STI lip, it would bubble up and would bend downward in the center, I thought that the bottom of the turbo bumper on a post lift was less squared out than an NA bumper, but then again I have never seen images of how the bottom itself looks.
