Hey,

I have been lurking around here for the last couple weeks because I am wanting to get into a first gen legacy turbo. Not quite ready to buy yet but very soon. I want to drive one before I fly over to some other state to buy one. But they are rare!

Here are my previous Subies:
04 WRB WRX wagon
06 AW STI
05 SWP Legacy GT wagon 5MT
05 Forester XT 4EAT VF39
87 GL-10 Turbo 5spd

Hopefully I will be able to find something that will treat me right for the next few years!

Welcome and you can always find someone on here that selling or that knows of one for sale. I am sure there are some members in your area as well. You should post some pics of th GL turbo if you get a chance. NICO has one but he is turning it into a monster.

I'll post some pics tonight. Unfortunately I had to sell the car, but it was fun while it lasted and made room for my future 1st-gen.

That wagon sounds like its damn near perfect! I got a turbo wagon recently and it has more miles but its totally stock, getting it was definatly a great move. I say go for the five speed swapped wagon.

Is there anyone around the CO area that would have time to check out the car in the CL link above? I'm very tempted to get it and he has dropped the price $450. I just don't want to get out there and find out its a rust bucket that won't make the drive back.
