need help asap fans not working

so the drivers side fan stopped working and the the pass side will work on if i kick start it with my hand, going to order new fans any one know what sizes I should order I was thinking 2 12 inch
It's a 91 na legacy 22

Hi Eric,

Have you tried to see if you put 12v to the fans to see if they work. You may have a wiring issue instead of an actual problem with the fans. If the fans are bad, you should be able to pick up some used fans from a local member in the parts shed for pretty cheap.

This diagram should help if you want to try putting 12v to the fans to see if you can get them to work.

Thanks for that! Got it figured out


Just sent you an email though haha, I don't know which wire on the stock harness is low ans which is high the green or the blue, I need to know which is low so i can connect my new fans to theharness

Did you check the fuses? There is a box in the hood and another on driver's side foot well.
When you short the two blue wires together at the A/C pressure switch, that will force the fans to on high.
