Most parts probably or at least like 3/5 of them because I've ordered many myself and looked up prices on many more for the hell of it. If you did manage to pull it off it would probably be a first and also you'd be in so much money you'd need a mortgage to front it. The turbocharger alone costs about a much as the average legacy does.

Yes, it would also be very expensive.

I tried to place an order for several interior trim pieces the other day through three or four dealers and although the website said the part was available and showed me a price, all the dealers emailed me and said that the parts were in fact discontinued, so I think more is discontinued than we think. ;)

Depends on the dealer and who you know. Some sites say they're unavailable but if you know somebody in the department who's been doin it a long time I think they can find some stuff other people don't.

They also don't make the shell. Would be kind of hard without that. IIRC, BMW reissued the 2002 shell and has all the parts to build one new. Granted, it's BMW, but it's also a simple car, and I can't remember, but I think it cost over $50k to build one new. The block might have been an old one, too, as I don't know if they reissued that. Fun fact: those BMW blocks were used in the turbo F1 cars that made over 1000 hp in qualifying trim and they used to get them from junk yards on purpose because the road mileage allowed them to make more power than new blocks (stress relief?).

Right on boys great info!

Now really i should have reworded this.

I want a mint body. At any cost really.

I just want to make a new looking 90-94 legacy that can be insured.

Like if i could find some one selling a rally car chassis that HAS a title i would get that... BUT thats not easy....
