Extreme challenge

Post by FundamentalyConfused »

This weekend I get to have an extreme challenge. I get to do a clutch change without my glasses!! Yay for me!!

I lost them on the way home making a left turn they flew off the dash and out the window. An hour later I decided to back track my steps and found them 2 left turns from my house and were run over! :(

My vision is 20/200 which means I can see good in front of my nose but about 2 feet away things start to blur around the edges.

I still have my sunglasses, I was wearing them when the others ran off, so there's some hope but I bet I'll be doing a lot of cursing.

Wish me luck!

Good luck! I'm 20/200 in one eye and 20/250 in the other, so I know how annoyingly blind you can feel without them.

Good luck!

I've learned never put anything on my dash due to the way I drive :)

What kind of bolt is used for the pressure plate? I read the torque reading wrong and broke a bolt off.

Are there any other cars they could come out of? Meaning any other brands too.

This is going to be a major pain in the ass on a sunday and I have to go to my grandma's funeral on monday!

I found the spec's for the bolt it's 8mm x 1.25 pitch x 16mm. My local aco hardware says they have them in stock so here's hoping I found it.
