help on a possible buy

hey everyone. new to this forum. but not to forums or the subie community. ive owned a 98 impreza wagon and an 02 WRX.

im lookin at picking up a nice DD on the cheap.

i love gen 1 leggy wagons and there pretty hard to come by here in michigan.

what do you all think about this one.

-Welcome to the bbs!
-I'd honestly look for a turbo'd model if I were you, if you wanted an auto wagon, but in this case, the car looks to be in pretty good shape. Minimal rust is a plus. I'd still talk them down personally. I almost picked up a RHD wagon for $1,400. Just really had a bad door, from postal service work. Blew my mind the a/c still worked in it. Maybe do a little more recon on it, carfax, maybe to see what they're saying is legit.
-afaik, awd isn't always on in the autos. They run fwd then provide power to the rear when in need of more traction.

yea there just arent that many around michigan. how would i know if its 4wd or awd. i know some have a push button.

-Sorry, I corrected my first post, for these wagons, they weren't 4wd.
