Good thing its an ultra light vehicle. Honestly though, thats all the power they cod muster up? It must be a 3 cylinder.

The 6.5L diesel in the Humvee makes between 150 and ~200hp for vehicles weighing up to 17,000lbs (this is the same engine introduced in Chevy/GMC pickups in the early 80s). So 175hp in this 14.000lb truck with additional hybrid power is actually a MASSIVE performance improvement. I definitely wouldn't mind flogging one in the dessert.

True. the factory armored hmmvs had a turbo diesel AND AC which was pretty decent for towing.

Holy crap. I missed the part about adding 268hp and 844ft-lbs from the motors. That puts total output higher than the MTV-R with its Catepiller diesel! I hope they do a lot of jump testing, because this thing will fly like a rocket through sand dunes.

Ive gotta wonder what with its ultra lightweight, if it will be as indestructable (barring explosions) as the armored Humvee.
