Legacy Turns 25! (Now Includes Part II)

Post by originalcyn »

Interesting article found via reddit.

A brief run down of the roots of the first gen legacy.

Pretty cool how they call it one of the best cases of deceiving potential hiding in plain sight. Great article.

I think mine was a February car. Hard to believe it's older than the majority of people I work with, when it was the newest car I ever owned at the time I brought it

They said the Sport Sedan only came as a 5spd. Oh, if only... lol. Otherwise another great read.

I found it odd they thought the '94 GT wagon deserved special mention. Even if it was the only high roof first Gen sold in the US, there was still nothing remarkable about it in the sense of Legacy history IMO.

Yeah, I thought that was a great article!

My 90 actually turned 25 last July; it was built on 7/89.

I caught that and commented on the article about the 4EAT and 5-speed being available. I guess he doesn't want to revise it. It was a good read, for sure, but with that statement about them 5-speed only, I now question the absolute validity of some of the other statements.
