Speedometer cable broken?

Post by marsh27 »

So I was swapping out some lights from a spare cluster I have but when I was putting it back together I guess I pulled the speedo cable too far and the sleeve came off. Now I can't get the whole thing plugged back in.. Is there any way to fix this? Or do I have to replace the whole thing

Yikes. I'm assuming it's toast. A helpful tip to avoid that in the future is to reach down and undo the connection above the tranny. You pull the silver wire clamps apart, pull up and that will give you plenty of slack for next time.
